Naperville is about a 30 minute drive from me, not far at all.

On my way home from a relaxing overnight trip. The Mrs and I are on tap for tomorrow evening. One nice little hit that made me up 50 bucks. Better then minus any day. I would have been negative on the last 2 trips if I wasn’t playing the Clone.

Hell yeah, I believe it. The biggest reason I get clobbered most trips is that I do the Clone in reverse! I come in like a house on fire, take a beating, then have to get lucky to salvage half my BR. I managed to salvage all my BR with a quad Aces trip because I went max for five minutes.

Thursday nite was a nice trip, but not good for VP. I went back to dollar play on Bonus Deuces Wild, but never hit one of the big 3 I would need to have a chance of even or better. Played 3 line spin poker. 98.8 and on an 800/1 machine. Unfortunately, no Royal, quad deuces, or even 5 Aces. That resulted in a budget buster and a giveback of a nice chunk of my big Royal last month. Try again solo trip tomorrow evening. The Mrs had an off night too on Ultimate X DDB nickels. I did more flat betting than I would have liked, but the Clone on dollars would have required a bank of 5k or more that I didn’t want to risk. Max bet would have been 45 bucks a deal. 15 bucks a line. I’m not sure it would have hit enough to stay afloat with the Clone either.
I may try the same game tomorrow nite but on quarters. The EV is 2 percent less though

Sorry you and the Mrs had a bad trip VP-wise. Hope tomorrow's trip is better.

Thanks Bill. Other than losing at VP, the rest of the trip was nice. We are back to frigid temps for the next 3 days. In just a few hours, we dropped from mid 50s, to mid 20s, and another 20 degrees more to drop. Short lived Arctic blast I hope. At least no snow or ice. Knock on wood.

Glad the rest of the trip was nice. As far as the weather goes, stay warm. Given what you are experiencing, I was debating whether to discuss the weather here. Let's just say that Spring training is going full blast and snowbirds are causing traffic congestion. The snowbirds have also descended on some of the local casinos. Again, hope your upcoming trip is positive in every which way and stay safe.

Other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play? The key break even or positive hand never materialized and it's bust city. Of course, it's much more palatable on the heels of $11,000 worth of RFs in the bank.

Clone rules not followed very closely. If you speed it up, it rarely works. Jumped around in different games. Should have started with and stuck to quarters. Sent myself to the Dunce corner of the casino. At least there was coffee and there. I was not allowed to have my favorite Italian Roast, but I was allowed a cup of Dunkin. Thank goodness they didn’t give me Krispy Kreme Coffee. It’s just undrinkable IMO. One positive. Stayed away from the ATM. Been following those rules for a few months now. Anyway, detention will be over later tonight. The ankle bracelet is supposed to self unlock. 😬
