Re: The Path IV
Sorry Saturday. I won $27 on my $30 Resorts BP FP. Returned plus $80 before my max quad. Jitney to Harrah’s. A small early quad, followed by a medium premium quad an hour later. But I stayed another hour, for a $430 loss. Net Day: -$490. 450 TCs.

If you were a major league baseball player, .333 would be a darn good average for the year.
You got sent back to single A ball today for sure.
You'll get another chance at the plate for a home run.

Three bad Harrah’s Saturdays this year. Three strikes, you’re out. I will not return anytime soon. (Sundays are no bargain either.) I get better pay tables at Resorts, the same tables I’ve long been accustomed to, full pay. Even if it is a lesser property, it’s still fun and I don’t feel like I am stranded in the middle of Nowhere, NJ. I will be very interested to see how this plan plays out.

Last year I "hit" 0.200. And my hits were measly singles.
History suggests this plan will play out with you moaning about not hitting quads on schedule and tossing your card under the boardwalk and vowing never to return...FAA wrote: ↑Sun Mar 09, 2025 8:00 pmThree bad Harrah’s Saturdays this year. That is exactly the result of my prior Resorts concentrated effort. I can only hope that past is not prologue. It's a deja vu of my Caesars efforts. I can essentially break even after two hours of play. However, any attempt at play in a third hour results in a wipe out. I will enforce a two hour limit.

Hey! I hit .333 in Jr Major league. Too bad my eyesight is so bad in my right eye so my fielding was poor. “ I could have been a contender “. Let’s see who remembers that line.

Correction coulda. I am a lefty. Just in batting. Not politics thank goodness. I would never make a 2 hour limit in the Ring. Maybe I should enforce that more at Bizarro. A few crumbs, take in a game on the big screen, and have a cold beer. Would certainly help my bottom line.

I'm the opposite - left hander who bats (and golfs) right.olds442jetaway wrote: ↑Tue Mar 11, 2025 8:42 amCorrection coulda. I am a lefty. Just in batting. Not politics thank goodness.

I didn't say I was a good golfer. In my prime, I generally shot about 90 for a normal 18 hole round. Sometimes it was a bit under that, but, more often, it was a bit over. My best was 83. I did have a 39 for nine holes, playing in a local league some 5-6 years ago. Unfortunately, that league did not survive COVID, and I do not play regularly any more - just 2 or 3 times a year, usually in charity events.
