Progressive nickel deuces wild

Post by Blueeyes2 »

We were in a casino this morning and happened upon this machine. I wish I could include a picture but the first column on the nickel pay table is
2, 4, 4, 6, 8, 20, 30, 50, 400, 500 and the final column with the progressive reads
10, 20, 20, 30, 40, 100, 150, 250, $101.85, $498.92
When we plug this into a calculator it says this machine returns 187% (beatingbonuses.com)
Are we calculating this correctly? What are we missing? Other than it’s a nickel machine!
The column just before the last column reads
5, 10, 10, 15, 20, 50, 75, 125, 1000, 1500
We are new to video poker and having a hard time finding anything over 98.9% in the nearby casinos.
Just trying to figure out if this might be a good machine to play as new players.
Also is there any way to plug those numbers into the practice games on here?

Sorry, no good.

That's a 10-coin bet, so base payback at reset is only 94.8.

Reset levels on the progressives would be $100 for quad deuces and $400 for the royal.

The progressive jackpot amounts as you mentioned boost payback to 95.3.
