10-year Treasury now approaching 4.6%. I can't find a cheap bond ETF for the 10-year duration. The popular ETFs are either 5 years or 20-30.

Guess I have to buy VGLT which is long duration. Expense ratio 0.03%.

TLT is more popular for long duration, but expenses are 0.15%. It has a tighter bid-ask spread outside normal hours.

I been in and out of SCHQ all year long. Want to buy and hold but think it's to soon yet.

I took on some ON for a buy/hold think it's hit bottom.

Took on some MRK as well not sure on the hold time but like it here and tariff noise will settle out.

Yes, that's interchangeable with VGLT afaik. They have identical expense ratios, maturities and durations. SCHQ is just slightly higher on the median bid-ask at 0.03%, vs 0.02 for VGLT.

TLT is only 0.01, but expense ratio is high (0.15).

Yes, my uranium holdings (largest to smallest) are URNM, CCJ, NXE and PALAF.

I've tried to cover all bases in natural resources.

To illustrate the bid-ask problem, let's say I want long-term Treasuries in the after-market session.

VGLT is 54.58 bid - 55.30 ask
SCHQ is 31.16 bid - 31.48 ask
TLT is 86.51 bid - 86.54 ask

The only viable choice here imo is TLT, despite the higher expense ratio.

Incidentally, I did own IMO (Imperial Oil). Made a nice profit, but sold too soon ... wait for it ... imo.
