As long as we are talking about things not to buy, better stay away from the pronoun ETF fund. You could up holding and be stuck with a lot of Xe, Ze, and Ey, and worst of all, the fund holds almost 50 percent of IT!
That said, I’ll wait for another dip Monday or Tuesday below 500 and I’ll just pick another few shares of BRK-B.

I'm not buying anything now. The opportunity has passed, IMperial Oil.

All my transactions this week have been sells, trimming my gold miners.

I'll buy more VGLT if it dips below 54. I'll buy PBR.A if it dips close to 10.

Dipping my foot into US retail.

COTY

And a salute to Marcus Lemonis: BYON and CWH

Is it weird that my portfolio is + today? Top US sector, energy. All-time high for gold.

Bear market still in full swing. So far following 2000-2001. Shorting very profitable these days.

Just happy that NAS only had a nominal loss. I do own 8 UNH shares, which took a 22.4% loss for -$1,048 on paper.

I’m afraid we soon be kissing our Medicare Advantage health care plans goodbye. Premiums are reasonable. Coverage pretty good.

Haven't heard of any problems with losing these. Something I missed?
We like them also.

I did have a little glitch with mine. My premiums are paid directly to Ins. Co. from Social Security.
Something happened for last 2-3 months and the payments stuttered a bit.
I got a bill from BCBS showing some paid and some not. Never got a bill before so I called them.
After 15-20 minutes of checking they said to ignore the bill everything would clear up.

Wondering if any connection to Fed. job cuts? DOGE in action?
If so I don't mind it a bit.

The only reason I mentioned the advantage plan is United Healthcare is blaming over use of it on their financial problems. Fingers crossed things will remain status quo. Our supplemental plan ( wife’s ) is Advantage through United. The retired teachers have no choice to pick. You get whatever the school system/ State negotiates and chooses. I’m stuck with my basic Fed anthem plan. Once I cancel it, I can never get it back. Even that is I think about 3 k a year just for me. Considering everything going on nowadays, we are happy with her Advantage plan too. Ditto on Doge too. I hope they can go after the responsible parties too for the waste fraud and abuse. Awful lot on their plate for now. I could start on the politics, but would probably get thrown off the site. 😂
