@wildman49, you used to play at $1 or $2 denoms—what made you switch to a nickel game? Did you already lose everything back? From what I’ve seen, successful players tend to increase their bets over the years, not lower them.

Yep! The Canadian bacon and egg sandwiches were delicious! 😂. Doris when you get time, type in Zeus Mainecoon YouTube. Several cool videos of this 28 lb. beautiful big boy will come up. Worth watching.

AT As an advantage player if there is not much of a good play I don't play at that high level. I been doing that for 7 years and the plays have been drying up, plus changes at the casino on VP make it much harder to get that advantage. So for 8 months now been playing at a much lower level and spending much less time at the casino. Making much more day trading the stock market volatility then VP.

Ditto. I don’t see that changing either. Just my opinion, but there is something different with the machines now. No recent winning sessions. I used to spend 150 days and nights at the casino. The automatic reporting of trades by brokers such as Fidelity, has made day or short term trading much less burdensome tax wise. Not only that, I get paid substantial dividends while waiting for a stock or fund to go up. I have never had a positive year in over 35 years of playing VP. With the continued degrading of pay tables by the casino, there is no way that will change. Mrs and I still enjoy going to our smoke free casino, but at this point, it is mainly to take advantage of the free stuff while it remains, or just to go for a good meal on the house sometimes. Unfortunately, the casinos being greedy, did this to themselves. Others may fare better than us and I wish them luck, but I think overall winners will be few and very far between. One would think that always double digit annual windfalls and sometimes close to triple digit would be plenty for our casino, but such is not the case. Others may disagree and that’s fine. I am only reporting our own experiences.

On my way to Bizarro for a bit of R and R and just a little play. Need a break after a medical procedure on Thursday. Will probably bring home dinner for the Mrs to save her another night in the kitchen. We are both on tap for late next week.

I have made a humble pilgrimage as well. The itch cost me a few bucks. The VP gods let me off easy.
