Once again tempted by the Seven Stars offering for May- this time I opted for the Solo stove smokeless firepit (a $200 value). After my abysmal showing two weeks ago, it could only get better right? A little traffic from road crews diverted me away from the Sure-Kill (Schuylkill) expressway and past PHL airport for a two hour twenty minute commute to work. Hassle-free check-in to 12th floor Laguna tower.

moments later I converted a dealt full house into another little kicker, this time a handpay:
a half hour later a near twin:
then my old pal, straight flush showed up unannounced!
things were definitely heating up, with quads galore Jacks, dealt tens, sevens, and Jacks dealt:
At this point I had 3 thousand dollar titos and 2 checks. Took a little break to dine in the lounge. I had soup, salad and the Chilean sea bass, double glass of milk and oatmeal cookie to go. As all perpetrators do, I ended up back at the scene of the crime, in the safety of the Cove. I was finally dealt quad Aces (alas, no kicker) on my 14th 4oak:
Then amazingly, my old pal's old pal, straight flush stopped by:
A once in 72,193 hand twice within a few hours. Besides the hand pays and other quads, I was getting dealt straights, flushes and full houses and filling in to draws when not dealt. It seemed like all the "dud" hands and disappointments of 2024 were being rectified. Ok, maybe not all of them but a good portion. Only a couple things missing from today's bucket list. Not long after the slot attendant came with my fourth check- deliverance:
My first royal of the year. Too bad that wasn't unannounced...I had been playing at $2 but once again couldn't hit pay dirt at the higher denomination so I chickened out. A little over an hour later, just before the stroke of twelve, came the last of my hand pays, midway through burning the second of my 1000 titos (to be continued)...

Finally, the AWAK!
I keep a record of all my kicker hands and I had gotten at least one of 10 of the 12 possible AWAKs- this was the 11th. The only one I need is the 4 of hearts kicker. I was close enough to burn the last tito to get to 5K tier credits and the 10K daily bonus. I caught five more quads which helped me reach it. All in all, a great session with some awesome dealt bonuses which is why I play this "gimmick" game. Plenty of ammo for the next gift giveaway! Hoping my old pal 10-low straight flush stops by...unannounced.
