Will UNH hit $500 again within 24 months? My 8 shares are deeper under water with -18% today.

UNlucky.

I'm tempted. I don't own much in that sector, so it would be a diversifier. But I hesitate to buy when the broad market is so perky.

Warning today on BGS from “ Stock Story “ and also on Berkshire from Morningstar. Both are down a bit so far today

The price seems low enough to compensate for the risk.

That's been a difficult sector. I remember when CLX Clorox was the hot stock because everyone was sanitizing their groceries. But the price was not reasonable.

I got lucky with BTI British Tobacco, but I took the money.

Today I've added two more slugs of CPB Campbell's Soup, and I just initiated PEP Pepsico at 128.

My primary affection remains the gold miners. For example, I was thrilled to buy AGI below 24.

BGS recovered some by end of day. I am waiting for AGI at about 22.75. May not get there.

It feels comforting to be back above ore Liberation Day levels in general.

This is just my opinion like most anything stock related. I think with all of Berkshire cash, if the price falls on the stock too much lower, they will buy back more of their stock. The only immediate downside to that for them is the 1 percent excise tax on buybacks. I may nibble again if it drops below 500. I also think Greg Abel may start paying a small dividend to Berkshire shareholders.

It could get there tomorrow . If it does, I'll be "buying back" shares.

UNH has completed a 2-for-1 split the hard way.

I'm a likely buyer, but let's see where it trades Thursday morning, as it went out this evening basically on the low.
