Re: Wild Wild Poker
Just noticed this site is showing that the game is available on three machines at Harrah's AC. I'm going to look for it during my next trip down...maybe I'll be dealt Wild!Wild!Wild!.

In between losing and winning yesterday I sought out the purported Wild!Wild!Wild! Poker units at Harrah's AC. It wasn't hard, they are very conspicuous with their logo and flame red and yellow colors. One within the carousels and two together near the carousels by the Eden lounge. All 3/5/10 play at .05/.10/.25 denominations. Quite a few variants- I only noted a few: 6/5 JOB, 6/5 BP, 6/5 DDB and 7/5 TDB (also have a few deuces variants). Not sure what the percentages turn out to be but sounds pretty poor. With the lower denominations it seems they want to discourage huge jackpots. The first couple of pass bys I saw nary a taker, then later a couple people seemed to be trying to understand the game. Maybe it will catch on.
I played fifty bucks on a whim at ten cent triple play, or three bucks a hand. Wild!Wild!Wild! flirted with me but a succession of no-Wild! hands quickly had me ejecting my residual tito. I would prefer single line at higher denominations, with better pay tables of course. Good luck.

Thanks for the scouting report. I was actually wondering about the paytables, so your note about 6/5 and 7/5 confirms some suspicions. Too bad there’s no single-line version at higher denom, that’d be more my speed too. Curious to see if they tweak the setup if the game doesn’t catch on fast.

I didn't want to start a new thread, but while watching a recent video, I saw this interesting hand and I was curious as to the proper play here. In the picture, the player is awarded 3 WILDS, 2 of which he gets on the deal along with the 7
, 2
, 4
. The game is 8/5 DDB. Some interesting choices here. Hold just the wilds, the wilds and the 2 or 4 for 3 oak, or even the wilds 2 AND 4 for two 3 oaks at the same time. Holding that option gives him 7 outs to quads with a kicker. Holding the wilds and just the 2 or 4 gives him 4 outs to hit quads. Holding the wilds only gives all sorts of possibilities. What would be the optimal play here?
