There are usually extra receipts lying around too. I can knock them out in less than a minute now. Only had one bad experience with the BOGO Survey at MCD. The one closest to my home is owned by someone from another Country. I guess the owners do have some right to do what they want as to the surveys. I had no problem with the manager. She was and is extremely nice. I guess she got in trouble for honoring my surveys from other McDs at their McD. WTF! Never had that issue at any other McD. Mcd headquarters who I called, called me back and said yes!! they can do that though they don’t recommend it. That’s OK!!! As retribution, I give my business to a different McD most of the time without any issues. When I want to stop in and am in a hurry to my local one, I just do a survey from a receipt that is often just lying around inside the store. That way, the manager won’t get in trouble. She is a sweetheart and very hard working. I never ask her to, but sometimes she throws something extra in my bag. 😊 I guess overall, very few people do the surveys. Most of the employees don’t know how to process them and have to get the manager. Most all of the Mcd employees around here are Hispanic women from other Countrys and are very nice and very hard working. Mcd has special programs for them to learn English and how to advance in the Company. Good for them. American kids for the most part don’t want to work there and are much less reliable. 😬

Bargain Day with the BK App. 1.29 chocolate over vanilla soft serve cups. ( very good like frozen custard ). That’s the every day price. Also a free large no salt Fry that I need like a hole in the head. Ate 3 and gave the rest away. The Mrs and I did enjoy the fake ice cream though!

I ventured back for that fine boardwalk breeze and a long walk. My Wawa coffee cup read: “Today is your day.” Unfortunately, I play VP. After hitching a ride to the station on train shuttle, I walked over to Formica’s. The bakery is near its primary customer, the illustrious White House Subs. I had steak and sausage leftovers. A $2.20 18” seeded loaf was just right. I asked for a plate and the proprietor asked if I wanted butter. I was agreeable. The tomato pizza and cookies are also excellent.

Now that’s a meal and a half. I noticed the last week or so that both McD and Wendy’s app deals are getting much less attractive.

I wanted to touch base with you on that. $1 Saturday Single has run its course. RIP SS. So I did the $1 topped fries today. Wendy’s is more interested in promoting Jenna Ortega nowadays.

I had to look that up since I watched so little TV other than the news and history channel. I had no idea who Jenna Ortega is or anything about her movie career, etc. but I did just read that Wendy’s canceled the Wednesday unhappy meal today.

You may have read “drops.” Current usage of drop means a product release!

I can't help wondering - why did we have to invent a new definition of drop?
