Thanks for the photos. We have coyotes here. I encounter them sometimes while driving. Saw a pup by a wash near my friend's house a couple of weeks ago. I am unable to take pictures while driving. We get sunsets frequently here that are breathtaking. I will try to get a picture of one and post it. Again, usually don't have my phone available at the right time.

Me either. I had the Mrs with me to take that shot. Many of the best ones over the years I was unable to get a picture of. One was a real Mountain lion coming out of a salt marsh about 5 miles from my house. They aren’t supposed to be up here, but a few are. That was about 15 years ago. The other one was a really large Bobcat I crossed paths with on a trail about 5 years ago. I just stopped and acted normally and he/she just continued their journey. I waited a few minutes before continuing my walk in case I was near any little ones. I guess there a few more, but at the risk of boring everyone…….OK one more. Back in the 1970s, the Mrs and I were vacationing in Nags Head NC in the Outer banks. I was walking along the Nags Head fishing pier in waist deep water trying to free my lure from a piling. Out of nowhere, the water turned dark and an 18 foot Hammerhead shark appeared next to me. Luckily, it was after scrap fish the other fishermen on the pier had tossed back into the water. I didn’t panic and very slowly waded back to shore with the Hammerhead shadowing me for 10 feet or so until the water got too shallow. From up above, the other fisherman ( locals ) saw everything. One ran down to the shore and handed me an ice cold beer ( was in the 90s ) as I was stepping out of the surf and no doubt by then I had started shaking a bit. I guess that was the topic of conversation at least the rest of the day from what I remember!
