Markets didn’t budge today. Remarkably stable! 😆
This is why I hate closures.

Oil was up an additional several percent overnight, but I was incapacitated, without access to stock trading. If feasible, I would have trimmed into the rally.

Stocks should trade a minimum of 24 hours a day.

What attacks? All markets finished higher today despite the ominous weekend events.

Like always, the market tanks on uncertainty. Since Iran announced they would send missiles to Qatar in advance and Trump actually thank them for doing that the market quieted down some. But who knows what tomorrow will bring?

Well, the markets should be dancing a jig today given the ceasefire.

If it's a ceasefire, why are both sides still bombing each other?

It's not a "cease bombing"?

Gold miners collapsed on the open. I got multiple buys of AGI, from 25.52 down to 25.11.

HL traded down to 5.54, but I missed the low. I paid 5.62.

PPTA traded down to near 12, but I missed out.

No idea why SSL is so crashy this morning, but I'm reloading. Now -11% for the sess.

I'm red on a green day, in case anyone was wondering :geek: .

Lots of Green so far today. New YTD high on my stuff. I’m watching natural resources closely though. Getting ready to bottom feed maybe soon. I think SSL has some big issues to deal with. Debt, uncertain political future and elections coming up, not paying dividends due to debt, emissions, lackluster demand in its chemical business. It is a true value play though. Down over 40 percent since earlier in 2024. If oil prices stay down, I think it could sit and waffle back and forth around where it is.
