Has anyone been to Valley Forge run by Boyd?
In Vegas, Boyd was popular for vp until around 2018 when they revamped the players club. In general now, it's very difficult for vp players to level up. 99% vp may require $50 or more to earn a tier credit, vs $5 on reels.

You may be able to survive without tier status, but Boyd prohibits point earnings until you clear the first tier hurdle.

Afaik, Valley Forge allows smoking.

Pennsylvania has better than usual blackjack rules, imposed by the regulator.

And, imagine my disgust when I found, after my first post COVID playing session, at the Gold Coast, that I was starting at square one with respect to tier status. That, along with the other previous negative vp related changes pretty much ended my relationship with Boyd. They were the only one of all the players clubs I was associated with that did not significantly extend previously earned tier status after COVID.

Has anyone been to Valley Forge run by Boyd? Been thinking about a side trip there at some point
Was last there three years ago. On a lark, I violated my "no play in PA" rule and stopped in on way home from work. Walked in with a hundred, walked out an hour later with 3K on a 3 play quarter dealt AWAK. Thought I had a picture, if I find it I'll post. They only had two machines I considered worth playing...

Casino aside, everyone should visit Valley Forge once in their lifetime. It's said that it's where the war was won, though no battle was ever fought there.

First time I visited and toured Valley Forge was in 1975. Saw Washington's winter encampment for his troops. Met Billie Jean King in Valley Forge that trip too.

I am the culprit, it was the way I cropped the post.

Sorry for any confusion.
