New position, AR Antero Resources.
I don't know why.
Olds, this won't be up your basin, as it's not a dividend payer.

From my reading, it seems widows typically change from one advisor to another -- commonly going from male to female. Under 25% of advisors are female.olds442jetaway wrote: ↑Sun Jul 20, 2025 11:22 amAgree, but from what I read, they get steered right into fee based Wealth managers, who of course are going to stay heavily in the market.
Stereotypically, the wife had minimal relationship with the male advisor while her husband was alive -- because hubby handled the finances.
Female advisors invest somewhat more conservatively than their male counterparts, but I think you're correct that widows will tend to stay stock-heavy as long as they keep any type of advisor relationship.

Another newbie position: EXE Expand Energy.

NEM has almost fully reversed last week's crumple on the CFO news.

I'm still nervous. I'm now out of the shares I bought on the dip, but it's still nearly a 1% position so I'm invested in the earnings report coming Thursday afternoon.

What the frack? Multiple purchases today of AR, EXE, and another new position: RRC Range Resources, which reports tomorrow.
With all the stocks wrecking together, I feel more confident that I'm not stumbling into a company-specific disaster.

Make mine Medium-Rare! On second thought, I better pass. Probably a lot of carcinogens too in that firewood from asbestos, epoxies, plastics, and other contaminants. Just build me a new house. The 36 Trillion dollar deficit will never even notice.

This is strange. For now, BGS is up almost 10 percent and holding. Can’t find any news about why. Anyway….

I think all my packaged food stocks are +2.5% or better today. I don't see any news on any of them.
