Sen. Elizabeth Warren has awkwardly fallen on the Senate floor. Senator Cruz, apparently back from another swanky vacation, helped see to her condition. Any thoughts on a cause? Long happy hour with Pelosi? AOC should have cut her off.

That's only mildly spastic by my standards. I've done worse, but fortunately I rarely have a camera pointed at me.

The funny thing is myself, brother, and sister were all sharing stories today….. Who is walking into door jams, stubbing their toe, our most common, tripping on the bath mat at the vanity, and many more. The Mrs says to me…..can’t you do anything without hurting yourself! My answer is always no!

One of my regular exercise paths has about a 6 inch drop from the pavement to the gravel. If I'm walking, I'll keep to the right edge if cyclists or runners are approaching from behind. Sometimes I'll lose balance and fall off, but when that happens, I continue on the gravel for a while because I want to look like I meant to do it.

If I stumble on the paved section of my beach walk, I stop and look out pretending to watch the diving ducks or a Crane or Herron.
Problem is, I walk at just under a run. I also have permanent scars on my legs and knees from slipping on the green stuff on the Jetty and dropping down about 7 feet hitting Barnacle and crusted rocks all the way down. On the plus side, I held my new fishing tackle high in the air on the way down and didn’t even get a scratch on it. Happened about 30 years ago and knock on wood, no instant replays! I was thinking of posting the scars, but then thought better of it instead of grossing anybody out. besides those scars couldn’t begin to compete with Richard Dreyfus as Hooper in the original Jaws movie.

On the plus side, I held my new fishing tackle high in the air on the way down and didn’t even get a scratch on it.

It's funny how we think to protect everything but our bodies at moments like that...
