"Stop watching slot videos and giving content creators an ego boost and money they don’t deserve.”

Absolutely! It is amazing that thousands of viewers will watch a video that represents a once-every-6-months positive casino session! Or watch a VLOG video patched together that shows jackpots from over a long timeframe. How about an honest video that shows not only the losses but also the trips to the ATM machine or to the loan company?

The people watching these videos and adding to the creator's YouTube count always seem to forget that the YouTube wonder kids face the exact same negative win percentages as the rest of us. There is no VP magic just because someone is handy with a cell phone camera. Anyone on this board could post a dramatic video of his/her occasional winning sessions.

"Casinos are very profitable. There is a reason for that."
Ditto.

It varies.

There's not much of an audience for smart gambling -- so it's usually found on obscure channels, or sprinkled into larger channels with a sugar coating.

For example, Vegas Matt portrays a dumb multimillionaire just firing it in there. But his crew is situationally aware. I believe they typically scout games before deciding what to play. Sometimes for example it's a $10,000 Ainsworth must-hit. They only play when the jackpot is elevated well above average, and they commit to hitting the jackpot. House edge on these plays is reduced from normal.

Similarly, they play Regal Riches when the free spin counters are high. They play Buffalo Link on high buffalo head totals. On games without must-hit features, they seek high or maxed-out progressives. They do a lot of purely dumb gambling, but the savvy decisions are there if you look for them.

They typically play those games (RR, BL) when they are still well below +EV states. An 800-900 BL is still a bad play even though it's better than a completely reset 100.

True. They're unlikely to transform viewers into APs, but may stimulate thought processes toward game selection and related considerations.

Prediction markets rate it near a coin toss.
