Well yes, I understand. I just wish that I had timed one of my two or three max bets to coincide with that magic hand. I think that I will patronize this machine same time next Saturday for hopefully a profitable five minutes. It happened to be in a surprisingly playable mode where I couldn't really lose on it. Of course any machine is a potential landmine and you must carefully tread.

They are all land mines. Just don’t step on one. Or in most cases sit down on one. I know one old timer who won’t stand or sit at a machine. He insists that even without his card, they know who he is from his weight! . So he stands off to the side and plays. I would agree that he may be totally off his “ Rocker “, but I have seen him win some really big hands over the years even after playing a few minutes!
