I read somewhere Jitney preference is given to certain card holders? Personally, I wouldn’t walk down there without packin, and even then😬😬😬. Can’t travel through NY and probably NJ either with Ct permits which are useless down there. I’m guessing the Boardwalk is relatively safe?

You're confusing jitneys and shuttles. The CET shuttle between their casinos had the driver get out and yell out card levels, highest to lowest. Now they just want you to earn ten tier credits and come aboard. I could have done that yesterday, but I'd still have to walk from Caesars to Resorts, which is a hike. But the public jitneys are my problem. Just too infrequent for the summer season and drivers may not condone standing. Ironically, the first boardwalk jitney driver I finally boarded encouraged standing. This was a practical man.
Safety is not an issue from 6 AM to midnight, which comfortably fit my 11 AM to 5 PM preference.

The Boardwalk is nice. About 45 years ago, the Mrs and I drove down there and went on that big ship that was like a mall across from the casinos. You could for a few bucks pick out your own Oyster and they would open it for you. Ours had a really nice black/dark blue pearl inside. We still have it. Never had it set yet. 😬 Duh!

I am not even familiar with that offering. It must be long gone. It's nice to swim on the north end across from Resorts if the ominous seagulls don't tear apart your paper bag in pursuit of food. They did a number on mine.

Here is the Ocean one Mall that opened in 1983. Right across from the casinos on the water.

Very nostalgic. What a simpler, happier time. The "mall" nowadays is opposite Caesars and over the last decade has been reduced to a ghost town.
