There goes the Apple Cart….It got tipped even before the open. Another headline on tariffs again. I’ll look to get in later in the day if I see a slight uptick.

Amazing. Gold closed at 3,601…..still holding WDOFF. At least GC=F did. NY exchange.

Yes, the 3,601 refers to the "front month" futures contract -- in this case, December 2025 afaik.

Cash price (often used interchangeably with "spot") is down around 3,530.

I'm trimming my WDOFF, but it's still a jumbo position. It is as heavy as 10 boxes that you might be moving.

It’s taking its time to move, but I’m hanging with it for now.

My buying opportunity this morning is SBSW Sibanye Stillwater, plunging on dumb reaction (imo) to the earnings report. A month ago, the stock traded near 10. Now it's approaching 7 (from the wrong direction).
Fail. I only got one purchase Thursday morning (at 7.17). I was too timid, waiting for a pullback to the session low.

Pre-market, I just trimmed those shares at 8.66 (fail?). Still many more remaining. Year-to-date:

Platinum YTD is up from 900 to 1400. Historically it has traded at or above the gold price, due to its rarity.
