Borgata/Harrahs
Some random thoughts and stories. Needed to go to Borgata AC last Friday to pick up a Cruise Voucher, rooms for me were $400. was going to do a down and back trip then got a call from a 7* friend who was going to be at Harrahs who was able to get me a comped room. Took a taxi to Borgata picked up voucher, played a little in the Ghetto, nothing. ate and drank at Amphora , then taxied back to Harrahs. Went to the Harrahs equivalent of the B Bar which had Shock Wave, got the Shock 3 times but couldn't catch the big one. Walked around and was reminded how many VP machines there were. Decided to to play an old friend, Random Rewards on the 5* machine, hit 4oak for $250. Decided that I was going back to Harrahs next year. Over 150 games. No way I was going to maintain Gold and to chase just to get into Amphora, didn't seem viable with the limited amount of games and down grades. On another forum [ Borgata ], one guy was bragging how he knew Fa La La La La.... La la la la and Dancer and he knew of a lot of VP players who were Noir which is the highest card at Borgata. To obtain Noir you need 1.5 million points and have to be invited. I'm at 50,000 LOL. Remember VP tiers have a 10 to 1 count down.

Merry Christmas to you as well. An ice cream truck in my neighborhood regularly blasts "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," and other holiday tunes. I would go insane if I were the driver.jetermacaw wrote: ↑Tue Oct 07, 2025 6:53 amOn another forum [ Borgata ], one guy was bragging how he knew Fa La La La La.... That's a problem also at AC Caesars properties, where I understand some countdowns are $20+ with exclusions from some promos.Remember VP tiers have a 10 to 1 count down.

Insane…….Wait till you hear me sing Rudolph, the red nose, reindeer, which I do every year for a couple of nursing homes and assisted-living places…… the original is by Gene Autry. I used to have his toy six shooters when I was about five that would’ve been around 1953.
As to VP, that’s one reason I stick with Mohegan son/ Bizarro World. A really good variety of machines even quite a few 9/6 quarter games left.
