Some interesting license plates in town today. Virginia is for taxpayers! Retired Marine Corps man in a sparkling white ride. MCL is more than a sports injury abbreviation.

Welcome to Fin Land! Landshark Bar and Grill is quite the festive establishment. My window view was the same section of ocean I swam in last summer, abutting the Steel Pier and its majestic Ferris wheel. It even looks good on an overcast day. Plenty of outdoor seating. It was just humid and dour today.

After waiting twenty five minutes for the jitney jalopy, Lucas Towing Service delayed us another five as it hauled away this clunker. Good thing the machines were still scorching hot when I stepped into Harrah’s HL Cove.

High Rollers Dispensary is conveniently located near Claridge and Bally’s for vacationing potheads and assorted dopers. I’d just as soon celebrate a RF with a bottle of champagne or Prosecco. Claridge, we should bear in mind, offers stunning views from its rooftop bar.

Ahhhhh! The Claridge. Originally opened in 1930. We stayed and played there on our first visit to A/C. We enjoyed it. I remember we won 200 bucks on a slot which was huge for us back then. They came down immediately and offered us another night comped, but we couldn’t stay.

Yes, the Claridge still has a stately air and a quaint old time feel. I enjoy the rear lobby. It has good bones. I’ll have to make a point of relaxing on the roof before it gets chilly. Great photo opportunities.
