So I have much, much more work to do mashing the buy button.
Buy button goes back into the styrofoam peanuts.

Caught one share of BRK-B at session low. That’s it for today. They are sitting on 344 B in cash and 122 million shares of Chevron. I like it under 490. Looks like Gold held its own for now. I would love to get a couple of Miners, but not yet

We haven't done "winners and losers" lately. Today my big winner was GPRK GeoPark, +12%. They released some projections and discussed upcoming expansion into Argentina.

Big losers were my 3D printing stocks: DDD -11%, and SSYS -9%. I don't know why :|.

Only the insiders know why in these situations! 😬. Thats why the market is such a crap shoot no matter how much investigating we do. For instance, BGS is holding its own in the mid 4s. Earnings out after cob 11/5 I think. If the analysts were so sure it would shortly make 6 or better, they should all be loading up and I would too if my crystal ball worked. I already have a bunch of it and happy at 4.5 to just reap the over 16 percent dividend. Hopefully and who knows, after 11/05 it will at least stay where it is around 4.5 a share give or take.

Didn't we just do earnings three months ago? BGS is a small position for me, under 0.1%.

Looks like NEM Newmont reports tomorrow Thursday, after the bell. I own more of it than I want, as I'm waiting for some shares to go long-term. The miners have to be nervous after their sudden collapse.

Next week, Tuesday 10/28 we get UNH before the bell. That's another one I've held for tax reasons.

Huge day Wednesday 10/29, as my top holding AEM reports after the whistle. Also, for those who care: MSFT, GOOG & META. And an FOMC decision at the usual time.

AAPL & AMZN are Thursday 10/30.

NVDA comes much later, in the back half of November.

Wasn’t that long ago on BGS stuff. Hope they hold above 4. My BGS is at 2 percent. Need to get some miners back soon. Berkshire at 5 percent. SPHY 3 percent

Our politicians are promoting stagflation, and it doesn't matter who you vote for. Cash holdings are problematic because the dollar is losing value. In this supportive environment for hard assets, sustained pullbacks are unlikely. Yesterday the miners presented a 20% off buying opportunity. We could get another leg down, but I wouldn't want to bet on it.

It may be possible to find value in related industries. I've been talking up chemicals.

the one industry that commands my attention is chemicals: BAK, DOW, HUN, LYB, SSL.
SSL released a favorable update, and is +15% pre-market. The others are up significantly also. I still believe BAK has excellent value at 2.50, although I've been expensively wrong so far.
