Off to Nevada

We are now heading into the final day of our trip. Our results, so far at the Four Queens on this visit have been moderately OK.

Saturday, I dropped another $135, but my wife more than compensated with a $450 win.

Yesterday, for a change, I outworn her with a plus $475 day, while she was up just $100.

I sure hope our final day is a good one.

Unfortunately, our final day at the Four Queens turned out to be our worst day of the trip. I was down $1700 for the day, and my wife was minus $1000.

Still, overall, it was our best trip ever, financially. Factoring in the value of our points cashed in at the Four Queens, I was down around $2900 for the trip, while my wife was up a fantastic $12,000.

We stayed one night at Seneca Niagara on the way home, where I lost another $150, and she also lost somewhat more ($800).

A comment about our flight back to Buffalo on Southwest Airlines: when we booked it, our Las Vegas departure time was 9:10am. At checkin time it had been moved back an hour to 10:10am (they did not bother to inform us of the change), and we did not actually depart until 11:50am. No explanation for the scheduled change nor the subsequent delay was ever offered.

Air Traffic Controllers not showing up. I was on 6 flights last week and 4 of the 6 were delayed.

As for your trip, I'm glad you had fun and your results were mainly positive.
