Buffett now sitting on nearly 400B in cash. No buybacks this time. I just added another share. 474. Both AGI and WDOFF are ticking up a bit

Miners are drunk on volatility today.
NGD New Gold is being acquired by CDE for $8.50 per share, payable in stock only. Overnight, NGD ran up to nearly $8.50, but then CDE crashed 10% -- taking NGD down alongside.
I'm not thrilled. I own a lot of NGD, and none of CDE (except indirectly through GDX or GDXJ). It looks like a cheap pickup for CDE.

This market in trouble, NFLX stock split coming is crashing -27 as I type, stocks with great 3 year charts selling hard like TMUS and others. GOLD/SILVER not holding up still see a sell off the rest the year. I'm moving into oil sector slowly plus adding short ETFs in SPXU right now. In XOM as well.
NFLX -35 getting crushed.

Possible, but the calendar is bullish, and I expect Dictator for Life will fight hard against any sustained decline.
I'm just ready for some of my shopping list stocks to go down, even if the MAG7 does not.
I'm also prepared to accumulate TLT on weakness. I want 88.50 or lower (currently 89.50).
I need my oil stocks cheaper to add more. Top holdings: EC, PARXF, BORR, GPRK & BTE. At the moment, I'd prefer to buy chemicals which I think should move in the same direction.

Fear not for Gold/Silver. The Wholesale Investors (who DO have a Breach button on their computers) got the drop they wanted.wildman49 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 03, 2025 8:24 amThis market in trouble, NFLX stock split coming is crashing -27 as I type, stocks with great 3 year charts selling hard like TMUS and others. They now have hit their Pump the Retail Investors button.
Just having fun guys. My CAT is a double and am feeling giddy.
Best of returns. I am in WDOFF in small way.

Palantir CEO crying on CNBC about short sellers in the stock.
PE Ratio 479.88
Forward PE 229.05
Looks like a 50-60 stock not 200 guy is a nut

This feels like a bad decision, but I'm buying CDE. Initiated yesterday below 15, adding now near 14.50.
52-week range is 4.58 to 23.61, with the high achieved less than three weeks ago.
The NGD acquisition at a reasonable price seems like a dumb reason for a selloff.
Still time on the calendar to snag a tax loss if it continues to crash.

I missed two opportunities in the opening melee. DKNG traded below 29, and PAAS approached 33 (from the wrong direction).
PAAS is a lottery ticket because of its stranded assets (Escobal in Guatemala, and Navidad in Argentina), but the company's other operations pay you to wait.
