That whole sector is on my shopping list. VNQ is only +3% ytd total return. I have no idea how to pick individual stocks in that industry.

Annaly has a good track record. I ventured to the company's "Purpose and Values" page and found this: "Annaly has a deep-rooted history that champions diversity and talent as we work relentlessly to deliver for our shareholders."

Reality check: diversity and talent are mutually exclusive. Stop lying. (At least I hope they're lying.)

CAT is classified as an Industrial, but it's associated with the Basic Materials sector where I'm heavily invested. These company CEOs should be mentioning AI at every opportunity, because you can't build and operate data centers without metals, petrochemicals, and energy.

Beyond mining, I got LYB at 44.43. And DKNG will be an upcoming tax-harvest candidate, as I've chased it from 35 down to the low 28s.

The numbers will be ugly because Q3 is the worst for sports betting. I'm still in buy mode on any further decline, barring something disturbing in the details.

Elsewhere, gold miner buy opportunity is paused again. I got more LYB, dropping toward a 43 handle.

TLT is approaching my target. One of my big % winners is the TAN solar ETF, which wouldn't necessarily have been expected during a MAGA presidency. Today it's +6%, to a new high above 50. Problem is I can't sell because my shares don't go long-term until next week .
