Games freeze up with ads and popups

This seems to have st (just did it again, your ad for celebrating 20 just interrupted my post) started after the net went down a few months ago. For a while there was no ads and then when they started again there was a popup on the bottom of the game that you could see through, before the ad appeared. There was also a popup which appears to come from the notices area and partially blocks the ad on the right side of the game.
This causes the games to play slow, I have to wait for the cards to hold. Eventually it freezes up. And then there's the aggressive cookies that click on your ads while I'm in the middle of a game or hand. In the game I was just playing it clicked an Alaska Airlines ad. This caused me to lose the hand I was playing, so no points for that hand. One time I was dealt four Aces with 30 games on top. I'll never know how that hand turned out
I'm on a windows 10 with updates for 1 more year. These pop-ups don't appear on any other sites that I use.

davidearl - did you sign up for the windows 10 ESU Program? Just wondering as Microsoft Windows 10 had an end of life on October 14, 2025.

Yes Ted. I don't know if they did this for all the people, but I waited until days before end of life and they offered to extend the updates for a year for free. Got it on my windows 7 laptop and two 8 desktop computers, all upgraded to 10s but not enough memory for 11. Updates are working fine
I was gonna take the laptop offline and use it as a gaming machine, like the windows 3 I got downstairs. Grandkids love it! I've got a VP Strategy master on it that I use quite a bit, trying to figure out some of the new games.

We don't have any ads for our 20 year anniversary, and there are no ads at all in the forum now so nothing should interrupt writing a post. We do have a graphic for our 20 year anniversary in the header and if you clicked that on accident it would have taken you to the page?

Just want to clarify to make sure you don't have something else on your system serving ads in addition to those on the site.

An Aggressive cooky clicked on Video Poker.com, on the upper left side just above Celebrating 20 Years. I had to close a 2nd window and then back track the 1st window to get back to where I was. I was typing, and when it happens while I'm in the middle of a hand I'm not clicking up there. I see something out of the corner of my eyes doing that.
Yesterday the cookies were gone while I was playing. But still there while I was posting.
I try to hide my curser and just use the keyboard, because some cookies need my curser to click. I run a long scan most every night.
