Thanks all! Depending on our weather forecast later which is iffy, the Mrs and I plan an overnight tonight. She deserves a break from cooking plus we are still doing leaves! Small denomination play rules though. Again depending on weather, “ Straight No Chaser “ on tap for the weekend.

Certainly the wise decision. But, if you're anything like me, you absolutely hate having the weather cause you to have to change your plans.

Ditto OMT and FAA. We ended up going Thursday night. Frigid temps up there 8 degrees in Uncasville overnight. 40 mph winds. Friday afternoon wasn’t as bad. Escaped with relatively minor losses. I cancelled my show for tonight. “ Straight no Chaser. “ No room. Will catch up on errands. At least the Mrs. and I finished up the leaves on Wednesday. Things are getting out of control here in Ct with fees and charges for lots on things. Estimates to remove the leaves on an 80x 150 lot were in the 700 buck range. That’s nuts!! Even if I am a dinosaur! And if you happen to own a simple Condo, HOA fees can easily range 600-800/ month. We have been getting our share of New Yorkers fleeting there to settle in Ct with easy access to the rail to commute to NYC. Of course that has caused things to explode pricewise here. I may take another run up on Monday. Not sure yet. I’m losing my incentive to head up as often as prior years. Continued cutbacks up there on lots of things. I guess they are trying to make up for the debacle at their casino in South Korea. It almost put their whole show OOB. I forget the exact number on their loss there. 200-300 M comes to mind. That fiasco cost was over 1.6 B.
