Anyhow after a six hour session last week, with ears ringing and pretty much fed up, I thought it might be helpful to wear earplugs next time. Has anyone tried that, does it help or do they take away too much from the live casino experience?

So much noise
The casinos seem to put the loudest, most obnoxious games near video poker and I think it's on purpose to blow your concentration (Keno being amongst the worst).

Where I play, I rarely have a problem. Only gets annoying if caveman keno is on an adjacent machine.

I don’t wear them all the time, and I usually enjoy the general casino noise as part of the experience, but while playing VP I keep my Apple AirPods handy and use them when needed to drown out the louder slot or Keno machines that may be near, or the at times crappy music being piped in. I just listen to my own music and play away….
