Re: The Path IV
Ditto!! One minor difference. I would have brought the five dollar bill to the animal shelter on my way home or the next day with other goodies.

What a crazy session. The machine quickly shot up, then began the death by a thousand cuts routine, then a shocking substantial surge. No Marina side trip, no jitney drama. How sweet it is. I feel much better about November. Net Month: +$24.

Sad Saturday. I won $8 on my $15 Resorts BP FP. I soon hit a small quad; too frustrated to photograph. I gave it back plus $75. Jitney to Harrah’s. A medium premium quad, many but a -$300 over two hours overall. Surrounded by VP jackpots. Back at Resorts, a large quad. Net Day: -$430. 220 TCs before 5X. Platinum.

Unfortunately, if you let surrounding jackpots bother you, you will never enjoy your day!

I wouldn’t say bother. I just keep hoping the winning trickles down to the humble BP player grinding away.

That grinding term sounds very familiar!

If you’re comfortable with losing $400 and know your coin-in goal, why not play $5 9/6 Jacks or Better at Resorts instead? It returns about 1.5% more than your favorite crappy 7/5 Bonus Poker and you only get W2G on Royal starting 2026.

However, ALL gambling winnings in the State of New Jersey gained from legal, and illegal, gambling, must be reported to the State of New Jersey on form NJ1040. So regardless of the issuance of a W2-G, or not, ALL gambling winnings must be reported.atomic2025 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 05, 2026 5:25 pmIf you’re comfortable with losing $400 and know your coin-in goal, why not play $5 9/6 Jacks or Better at Resorts instead? My point is the 1.5% deficits on the crappy 7/5 bonus poker...Tedlark wrote: ↑Mon Jan 05, 2026 6:34 pmHowever, ALL gambling winnings in the State of New Jersey gained from legal, and illegal, gambling, must be reported to the State of New Jersey on form NJ1040.
