Well, so far it's been so so. Our drive to the Buffalo airport, leaving home at 7:30am, and despite some rain, went quite well, and we arrived in plenty of time. And, our departure from Buffalo to BWI (Baltimore) was right on time. (as an aside, I would note that we could not find a non-stop flight to Vegas from Buffalo).

Now, however, I sit in the BWI airport, facing a 2 hour delay in our departure to Vegas, This means our time to bed in Vegas, once we get there, and get checked in to our hotel, will be about 20 hours after we got up this morning. At our age, we don't put in such long days very often, anymore.

They did tell us that the delay was due to a "maintenance issue" at Orlando, which is where our flight came from.

Southwest has a direct flight from Buffalo to Vegas. Definitely worth it.
