Re: Bizarro World 2026

Got back last evening about dinner time. Here is my Bizarro story of the day. I will never change Mohegan Sun’s name from Bizarro. At the early part of the session I was getting smoked on 3,5,10, and 20 cent Bonus Deuces Wild Spin Poker. Being down at least 400, I took a break and dropped another 200 plus on DDS Bonus Deuces Wild. I packed it in for the night after checking in to the room about midnight or so. I got up early and headed down for coffee and after catching up on the weather and news.
Then I headed over to my mostly trusted dollar Spin Poker machine. 98.6 return for Bonus deuces Wild. It started out slow, then gave me this nice hit using the clone with a Wild Royal Dealt in clubs. I took a long walk to work out the kinks, back to the room to do a bit on stock market stuff, grabbed a bowl of soup etc in the lounge about 2 pm and hit the same machine again about 3 pm. Back and forth for a couple of hours, then at about 5 pm, Bizarro World at its best. A real Royal came in on the deal line. Same suit in Clubs as the Wild one some hours before. As usual, Bizarro World and then some. Immediately cashed out and headed home for dinner with the Mrs. We are both on tap for tomorrow evening if all is well! On my way to the Animal shelter now as I’m typing this.

In Southern Ct we rarely get below 0 or even single digits. We do get Blizzards, worst ever was 1978. Most of the homes up here aren’t designed to handle the kind of cold you guys have. Back in the early 1980s, I bought a 78 Chevy Impala used that was a Michigan car. It had a dipstick heater for the engine oil. Didn’t know at the time it was common out there. When you become a senior, especially going on or close to 80, winters are a totally different ballgame than when you were 35. 😬 Guess that’s why so many move south or west. Speaking of northern Michigan., any close calls with Bigfoot up there? I have always been fascinated by the continued search for them or similar creatures. I know there have been lots of sightings in the upper peninsula area of northern Michigan.
Bigfoot sightings extremely rare. Jackpine Savages quite common.

Had a few of those under a different name up in the hills of Appalachia on the Tennessee Kentucky, Virginia border. They are still there. They did some logging harvesting ginseng, and of course their own version of moonshine stills.

👍 Thanks Doris!! Good thing Doris I didn’t stay long at the Shelter. I would have walked out with a full armload and then some of Kitties! 😊. I didn’t dare go in the back where they were all kept in their own cages. Last time I did that I brought home 2. 😂 That was 25 years ago. Here is one, the same day he came home.

Thanks CBK. Once in awhile, throwing caution to the wind pays off! Knowing what usually happens on the next trip after a nice win, it will be nickels, dimes, and maybe quarters tomorrow nite. On the other hand, I will have my lucky 🍀 charm with me! 🍀 😊

Glad you had a successful MS trip and a nice one to the Shelter as well. Good luck on tomorrow's MS excursion.
