Tedlark, look under MikeAs trip report in the LV/Laughlin trip report thread. In his wind up post you will see a blue link labled, HERE. If I knew how to link it for you I would, but I am not too bright in that area.

I JUST GOT BACK FROM A.C. AND SEVERAL DAYS IN WILD WOOD N.J.. OPPS! I WAS WRONG, THE BORGATA`S AMPHORIA LOUNGE DOESN`T HAVE 8 PLASMA TV IN THE MEDIA CENTER. IT HAS 12 TV THAT TAKE UP THE WHOLE WALL. THEY DEVIDE THE TV SCREENS IN DIFFERENT CHANNELS AND THE 4 SCREENS IN THE CENTER TO ONE TV STATION. WE WERE IN THERE LAST WEEK IN ADDITION TO ALL THE OTHER GOOD FOOD THEY HAVE. THEY ADDED COLD PEELED SHIMP.
AS FAR AS THEY VIDEO POKER PLAY FOR THEY WEEK, IT WAS OK. I GOT SOME GOOD PLAY TIME AT THE BORGATA AND HARRAH`S. BUT NO JACKPOTS. SOMETIMES THOSE THING HAPPENS.
DID I MENTION THE WEATHER WAS GREAT ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Jim, Thanks for A C update. Too bad I rec'd Borgata e-statement yesterday: to maintain my BLACK LABEL Status I need $909 comp dollars by 11-08-08. Odds are great I will not even get back to AC before that date. Shrimp sounds delicious! Speaking of shrimp. Funniest thing we have seen at a buffet: Guy at PALMS, Vegas, had a HUGE plate heaped mountain high with shrimp. He had selected nothing else to eat. Hope he's not allergic to seafood!

Marie, you must not have witnessed the folks at Motor City when they had all you can eat King Crab Legs on the Buffet.

I've been out of town Marie so I missed your post! Congrats...what a fun trip. I've never been to AC - primarily because of it's reputation and plus Vegas has the easiest flights from Iowa.
I enjoyed Harrah's in New Orleans last week. We only spent a comped night there but it was a 17th floor suite with three rooms and two huge plasma tvs. Made a litte quarter player like myself feel pretty good. Three walls of windows overlooking the city...fantastic. I did alright considering we only stayed there for the one night and then moved to our room in the French Quarter where we always stay as our family was joining us. A quarter royal (# 20 Marie) on deuces wild gave me an early $1000 to play and a couple four times of four deuces on the DW machine kept me on the plus side for the entire vacation which isn't easy to do in NO as it's an expensive town if you eat at decent places. I love it there though.
Thanks for the detailed report. It was enjoyable to read and maybe I'll consider AC some time in the future! Congrats sista

rfonlymama, I don't know what reputation you are talking about. We have found AC to be a neat place, especially in the summer.

You could have gone to Uglesich's deli and gotten a monster po boy with a drink for minimal dunkins or hit one of the Mom and Pop places too get a jambalaya plate. Yum!
