I was at the trop in early July and wil be there in a few weeks. I know I played several K or better joker poker. They have a long row of progressives that pay out well for a royal and other higher hands.
 
For me I play mostly the .50 deuces wild machines, many hits of 5 of a kind for $500.00.
 
I like the Trop over all other casinos in AC because they have the best selection of games and I have made out well on every visit.

Reducing the FH to 6-1 return drops the overall payback of full pay KBJP by over 1.5%. If nothing else changes a drop to 5-1 would reduce the payback to around 97.5%. Pretty poor.
 
Keep in mind that VP machines don't "give" you anything. They are random and the number of 4oaks you will see over time will approach the statistical mean. You will see good streaks and bad streaks, that is all part of being random.

just got back from ac,got robbed but had a good time,95 degrees,high humidity.71 low humidity here.played a game maker/king in showboat,quarters which had an 8000 coin rf,as it made payback respectable.double bonus vp.

yeah jim deuce,i played that kob jw at harrahs,got there it was $1000,and by the time we left it was 1200+,i've seen that one go over 1700 before.those machines were on the other side of casino once,and a lot played them.my wife won once,screamed and scared a professional player from pennsylvania,as he played them a lot then.he would write down all wins,4 of a kind etc..

THURSDAY WE WENT TO THE BORGATA FOR 2 NIGHTS. THEY PUT IN NEW
IGT MULTI-DENOM POKER MACHINES OVER BY THE BUFFET. THESE ARE 25¢,50¢,&$1.00 . THESE NEW MACHINES HAVE THE SUPER BONUS DEUCES WILD GAME WITH THE PAYSCALE OF A WILD ROYAL PAYING 25 per COIN BET INSTEAD OF 20 per COIN AND FOR 5of K IT PAYS 12 COINS INSTEAD OF 10 COINS.  THESE NEW GAMES HAVE A 8/6 JACKS OR BETTER .
WE CHECK OUT OF THE BORGATA ON SAT. MOURNING BUT HAD SOME TIME LEFT BEFORE WE WOULD GO TO SHOWBOAT FOR THE $10 GAS CARD GIVE AWAY AND 7 x REWARD POINTS. I DECIDED TO PLAY THE SUPER BONUS DEUCES.
