Wayne Newton!That sucker is going to be performing a concert or something at "First Counsel Casino" in Newkirk, Oklahoma in August sometime!  Can you believe that?1st Counsel  is not a very big casino folks!

You'd be amazed at big name entertainers who play at our local wig-wams.  Can you imagine how much they have to pay to get some of them?  It's usually a one-nighter, and probably a week night.  Lots of these venues don't even have a real theatre, just seating under a big top.  Haven't ever gone to one, but got mighty tempted by Julio at a San Diego area casino. Only reason I didn't go was my husband (the cooler) doesn't like to drive at night and we couldn't get rooms.

Ginny, you should try it sometime either with your spouse or a friend if your spouse is not comfortable driving down dark twisted two laners with impaired gamblers going the opposite direction. Lots of first rate talent and some past and present big names play many venues here in So Cal. Ticket prices are real reasonable too! If nothing else, go see a comedy show. I don't know anyone who couldn't use a good laugh.(except maybe Dr. Phil)

Thanks for the Newton tips.  My mother loves the Vegas experience but when she's gaming....... Elvis himself could sit at the machine beside hers and she'd never notice.  She gets totally focused and in the zone.  I hope to take her to the Fontana Bar at the Bellagio so she can see the fountains dance from the inside of the resort.   I've friends who have been dreaming all their lives to see Wayne Newton.  It'd be fun to watch them if they ever get to go.  Thanks gang.

BigSteve, don't know about you brother but it's 4 weeks and counting for me. Hoping to leave on Thur evening and return Mon. Money and circumstances can change that but thats the present itinerary. Will be at Sams most of Sat. but we'll use two-for-one coupons for buffet up the street. I expect to read your post about 3-play STP RF with 10x multiplier! I hope to have an RF post upon my return home but quads with kicker won't hurt either. I'm not that picky!

Ginny, I think were in luck as Eduaaaaardo has only played at 2-3 places according to the man. This leaves several options!
