Thank you for your help.  I'm going to Laughlin tommorrow and will be practicing up~~If you read this before you leave for Laughlin, please report back in after you get back.  I'll be going down there next month and would like to keep up to date on what's happening there.  Thanks,  MikeA

hi mike, thanks for the info on the AAA22 for triple double bonus.

that's what i play 99% of the time and i was NOT aware of the AAA2 being the best hand to hold for tdb. i normally just hold AAA. (the better play for ddb as you mentioned but not for TBD), but of course it pay's 4000 vs. 2000 if you connect in tdb.

incidently, when i was at the casino last week, i was dealt three aces TWO separate times on 10 play and i couldn't connect either time. so aggravating!! (can't remember if either of those hands held 2's,3's or 4's).

so, going off what you saw at the correct play, if you have AAA2K or AAA49, you would still hold the 3 A's and the 2-4.

I would keep just one of the low pairs, not just because of the high paying four of a kinds, but also because of the low payment for 2 pairs, which is probably what you would wind up with.  If you get three on the draw, you also will see an advantage over the 2 pairs, 3 credits for each bet vs. just one for the 2 pair.
