I wonder where all that money is going to come from ... ? [/QUOTE]
Don't spend all that Royal Flush money shadowman. I'm going to need some.

I'm with Lou Dobbs this year, but if you look at past elections, even if we threw out all the bums and elected all new bums, pretty soon they, too, would get the Washington uglies. My thinking on our investments: " DON'T JUST DO SOMETHING - SIT THERE!"

I've deposited it all in Wells Fargo ... If it's good enough for Uncle Sam it should be good enough for me.

I'm ok with long term on the street. I might be 90 years old before it comes back, but it always comes back. That's what my (commissioned) broker says. Would he (or Fa La La La La.... La la la la) lie to me?

I'm with rascal on this one. 30 years from now, we'll all look back and laugh at this.
Just make sure that your broker isn't moonlighting from his day job:

I'm not so sure if it will be the same ole USA in 30 years. What would you expect to hear from a commissioned broker. He still wants to make a living and present clients are easier than getting new ones. Seems like a conflict to me.
I am loading up on ammo to resell as the crud settles down on humanity. Setting up an underground shelter to hide from the hungry mobs.

hea,i remember when gold was 35 bucks an ounce, but i was making $1.25 an hour so couldn't afford any! Now gold is over $800 an ounce and your wages went up how much? There really is no real cost-of-living increase unless you find the job that pays accordingly.

OEJ; perhaps an ammo stockpile and a taco stand might not be such a bad idea as long as your delivery guy doesn't use a scooter (woof woof)

Speaking of Feds, I just got my mail-in ballot today. Here in CO there are sixteen parties on the ballot running presidential candidates (not kidding). Never seen anything like that.
