Mille Lacs CEO ousted over $$ diversions

Today's Minneapolis Star Tribune goes into more detail on allegations that led to the recent ouster of the Mille Lacs band CEO, including charges she received casino comps ruled improper since 2004. Mille Lacs runs two Grand Casinos in Minnesota.

We, and I think shadowman, have been guests at the Grands; speaking for ourselves we found them well-run and pleasant places for gaming and relaxation. If we were to receive offers similar to some we have had in the past, we'd certainly consider another visit there. Here's hoping the band gets over this rough patch and that it doesn't affect their casino operations.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out although it doesn't effect the casinos themselves. I will certainly continue to visit the casinos as long as they provide my favorite game, OEJs.
