Re: Las Vegas Sands
well, as long as they stay open until next Friday when i get my free room, that's fine! Even in economic hard times, I sincerely doubt they would shut their doors prior to the holidays. Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years make some big dunkin for them casino folk. Even with the slowdown, I'm sure people got a little something something stashed away for a getaway to LV.

oh, i am NOT going to be gambling at the Venetian (at least not with my money). I am just checking in to get the free room (for my parents) and to use the $250 in slot credits.
by the way, an article i read online yesterday said they have until December 31 (i believe) to come up with the money. they hired some investment banker eft. Dec 1 to help them come up with ideas.

I can't think of anyplace that wouldn't have a video check-out system in place especially now with all the staff cutbacks and such. Service may not be what it used to but thats understandable. Just don't blame the server, blame the owner. Now get out there and win back some of what you donated last time!

seems to be harder than ever to win,i wonder if casinos can adjust their machines for hard times, just today i see possibly 70,000 layoffs at wallstreet.

I feel "priviledged" to have won a couple hundred bucks this past saturday night at Four Winds Casino in Michigan. I got a hundred from a penny slot machine and a hundred from a video poker machine, as soon as I hit for the hundred on the video poker machine I cashed out and boogied home. Good luck to all, Ted.

I've won money each of the last 4 months. It took a RF today to put me ahead this month. However, it wouldn't surprise me if the casinos are lowering the return on the slots. There's no way to tell the payback.
For VP there has been some lowering of paytables but there's still good games out there and all we have to do is check the paytable.

Scorpio; my thinking was the same as it seemed no matter what I tried, the variance would always come and bite my behind. the experienced ones as well as Gaming Control wiill tell you it's illegal to tamper with the machines in that manner without adjusting the paytable. Sure seems like a lot less payout! I was playing a 10/7 DB machine and didn't last as long as I thought I should however I'm sure that would even out over time, just not over night!
