yeah, you're right big boy, however i do like the card points that you can use for gas,restaurants,shopps,etc..some ac casinos have this comp where you can only get them on certain days, gas coupons, etc.,what good is that!

Yet despite all the criticism, they continue to get the business. Even VP players who know better (yeah me too) still go and donate to their causes. Pretty simple actually. Don't like it? Don't go. (And i'm american but not paleface)

True Ed, we continue to go b/c it's easier to spend a saturday afternoon/evening at a casino 1.5 hours than having to plan a whole jaunt to Vegas.
They've got us right where they want us!

Btw, Vegas is *re* scheduled for Dec. 20th. Can't wait! Hopefully getting sick before the scheduled nov. trip  was the gambling gods telling me I wasn't going to win that weekend but the Dec. trip is the right one for winning!

And the worst so cal indian casino for vp is the chumash casino in santa ynez. don't waste your time!!

Vidopoker, I agree wholeheartedly 1,000 %! I posted awhile back that Chumash wasn't worth the time unless that's your sole option for VP around. Lousy paytables, poor selection and (seems like) poor returns on your investment.

safer too,as terroists like poorer people areas. Have you any idea where Santa Ynez is? Where the casino is located, doubtful a terrorist would consider going as it's a ways out there off the highway. We have quite a few "poorer people areas" in southern California and I'm not sure of the jist of your comment. I can't see why a terrorist would go into any of these areas as they would be outmanned and undergunned. Lotsa hoodlum types but i wouldn't go as far as calling them terrorists. Urban guerilla maybe. Can you recall the last casino/terrorist incident?

Santa Ynez is quite a wealthy area (at least the people who own the farms in that area are) and it's only 25 minutes from Santa Barbara. however, the crowd is a bit "strange." I wouldn't say sketchy, but more along the lines of "trashy" at times.

I remember a few years back I won $2,500 on one of the vp machines and after finally paying attention to the pay schedules, vowed never to play there again... just luck I won that time. I can't imagine, quite frankly, under any circumstances wanting to go back to that casino ever again.

I just never feel comfortable in that casino. (not a safety issue, but it's just not welcoming).

The last terrorist incident I can recall was when that guy went postal at the NYNY and started shooting at people on the casino floor. Although, I think he was just some kooky local, not a "terrorist" per say.

casinos are having a bad time right now, trump having trouble making a 34 million dollar interest payment due monday,so terroists probably not interested in casinos.
