Hitting for the Cycle on Joker VP
We have been playing for several years but never hit for the cycle on Joker poker until this week. My wife and I went late Thanksgiving day played/stayed at one of the two Lake Charles casinos. We love the staying at Lauberge du Lac but the pay tables are horrible. Lost most of what we had. The next morning took our remaining money and went to the Isle of Capri in Lake Charles were we usually play with decent odds.
My wife selects a quarter machine that usually plays well and begins Joker Poker. Over the next hour she hits a straight flush, 5/Kinds twice and then the full pay 9,400 RF (the second RF on Joker for this machine in two months for her). We switch out because it is still playing hot and I hit two straight flushes and a RF w/Joker to complete the cycle. We played the same machine for over four hours and never lost money. Not bad for $25 investments.

Congratulations. It's always nice to reach those psychological goals. I hit for the cycle playing OEJs a few weeks ago in less than an hour. How great is that!
I knew a guy that hit deuces holding all possible combinations in around 6 hours on triple play.

Congratulations Shadowman. Yes, it feels good psychologically. Where do you play OEJs? I've never played it.

In this case I was playing at Skyline, a locals casino in Henderson on Boulder highway at Sunset. It is also the only decent game in MN at several casinos. It's a lot like double joker if you've ever played that game, but a little more difficult.

in ac my experience has been, that machine you won so much on,will not be there for long, replaced by a newer more tight machine .
