Re: RNG Experiment
Is drivel like a cow pie or bs? Am I on the right track here?
Back to my yoga now. Peace to all.
Um, I think drivel is what you protect yourself from when you go outside with an umbrella. But it might be one of those long and skinny balloon things that carries people. Hurts my head to try and figure out words like that.
Keep up the yoga. I've noticed a mellowing in you lately, oej. Ommm, ommm.

Thank you CD. We are just specks in the universe. The big picture must be looked at from close up and from a distance.
Find your inner strength.

Why shouldn't you be able to take results from a coin-flipping RNG and compare them to what you'd see by actually flipping a coin? Same thing for a VP RNG and a deck of cards. "Art imitates life" - the RNG gives you what you'd see dealing from a real deck of cards. Not only the same long-term averages, but also the same kinds of short-term runs.
Here's another way to look at it. At your next real casino play, write down every card that comes up during the session. When you get home, get out a deck of cards and play the same number of hands, shuffling the deck after each hand, and write down the cards that come up. When you're done, show the two lists to a math guy (not telling him which came from an RNG and which was from a real deck). Will he be able to tell you which list came from an RNG? Nope. Pretty big job, maybe we can get Rob to do it since he has the free time.
Rob would say that you CAN tell the difference between two such lists - but we're still waiting to hear the reasoning behind that statement. Hmm. Maybe we could send both lists to Rob; he should be able to tell which came from an RNG.
I thought yoga was something you can buy at a supermarket and that has fruits and berries in it.

Rob surely can still figure out a way to win surely.
With his pattern detection, machine whisperering,
etc etc. I am so disappointed, but I am sure he is going to work and will find a way with the help of his 3 chinese twin mathamaticians, too beat those tampered rng's. I know it. I have faith in robs ability to fabricate the impossible.
Don't let us down robbie.
Is 2 weeks enough time?

Hope the drivelers are all wearing bibs.
It simply amazes me how some folks will just not give up on the idea that the Casinos and Gambling machine makers are doing somthing nefarious. I don't know if a certain level of intelligenge is required here or what the answer is. I suppose as long as there is pot disturbers around there is no hope.

You won't get slammed, you will get corrected.
Mathematically they are both random. If you think you can overturn centuries of mathematics by listening to Rob I think you have greatly overestimated his knowledge.
Are you anti-technology in other respects? Why would you think mathematics works fine in the operation of all that technology sitting right in front of you as you read this post, but believe it doesn't work when imbedded in a VP machine?
