ANNIVERSARY CRUISE TR
Left our house in Brooklyn 11am 1/4 and we were in our cabin n the Norwegian Gem before 1! I love not flying! Ill just give a brief description of the cruise and then on to the gambling! We went to St Thomas (Megan bay beach break tour-crowded) Antigua (blew off the tour-we were up late gambling-430am-cause we had a great night, more later) St Marten (shopped in the town) Barbados ( Malibu beach -it was great, already been and it stayed the same) Tortola (cancelled the tour shopped )
The food on the ship was very good and everywhere all the time-they had cappucino machines that spoiled me! The specialty restaurants were worth the cover charge as well.
Gambling- We brought around 3000 for 10 days with 4 of them at sea with cool weather and the casino open all day! Not a big bankroll. When we first checked out the casino the machines were disabled but we saw an All Star machine and we were excited thinking it had STP but it didnt. The quarter DDB paid on some machines 30 for a fh and some 35-horrible. We ended up playing triple bonus, 35 fh and 4000 for an A w/kicker and 2000 for 2,3,4, with kicker. They had 3 multiline machines and there were 4 mahcines hidden with the dollar machines that paid 45 for a fh but they switched them to dollars!
In the first 6 or so days my husband got a royal, I held an A of H and pulled a royal, and we got dealt a royal on triple play (so pretty! Thats the night we stayed up till 430am) We got a few 4trees on dollar ddb.
We also got on TB A with kicker once and 2,3,4s around 5 times.
The rest of the trip kicked our butt! I had some decent wins on slots (380, 175) but that was it -a few of the lesser paying 4trees on TB but that was it. They had a decent selection of video slots 2c and up. And they had a section of around 16 vp machines together but no progressive-the first time Ive been on a cruise w/o a progressive. The casino got "smaller and smaller" as the week went on! We got back 425 bucks in "seabucks" that they took off our bill, and we got 220 fuel credit and we had signed up with a 75 on board credit so our bill was around 300. Im not gonna tell how much we ended up spending in the casiono but we went through all the winnings.......................................................plus
Its amazing how machines can go south so quickly! We had a fantastic time though with tons of gambling- maybe 65-70? hrs of gambling. The bad thing is I am addicted to that TB-But its killer to get only 10 for 3 of a kind but when you hit one of those big hands-how sweet it is!
Hope I didnt bore anyone!
We are going to AC Sat to keep away the back from vacation blues! LOL

All in all it sounds like a nice trip Boops. You are absolutely right to go to AC this weekend. When you fall off a horse , you just have to get back in the saddle again.

Boops....sounds like overall you had a good time so glad to hear that..
regarding tb.... my favorite is tdb and i know it sucks to get only 10 for 3oak but like you said, when you get the 4awk or four 234w/ kicker, it feels great to get that nice payoff!
kick some butt in AC and let us know how you end up doing...

Great cruise report Boops well except for the red face. You need to ask webman how to get your red face to beat itself against the brick wall, look back in some other posts from earlier in the week. Good luck in AC this weekend, me and the squeeze will be basking in 65 degree weather in 702. Right now its -7 in Chicago so the change will be dramatic upon arrival tomorrow late afternoon.
We haven't heard from Eduardo yet this week, I think he is in Las Vegas until today and I'm hoping he did o.k.

Good Luck Ted.
Eduardo has either lost a ton or won a ton. It will be interesting to see if he left you a Royal.

I think I've seen "won-a-ton" on the menu of my favorite Chinese restaurant, lol. I'm hoping he did well faygo, I think of anyone he deserves it. Not that I'd turn down that dealt royal on 5 play anytime soon. Thanks for the well wishes faygo, Ted.

Boops, sounds like you kids had a swell time out in the Caribbean. Give em some hell in AC.
Ted, you know my story about you and your gal. JUST WIN BABY! Post your story and W2-G upon your return to Illinois. i was going to mention something about the won-a-ton joke but you stole my thunder. I know you snooze. . . .
Sure hope Eduardo has some good things to say upon his return. It can't be too busy now as the CES ended last weekend.
