4 Deuces/Jokers Wild odds
In Deuces/Joker's wild, what are the odds of ending a hand with 4 deuces and the Joker? What are the odds of being dealt this hand? I am sure much higher than a RF, since I see paytables of 10,000 credits for this hand versus 4,000 for a RF. Has anyone on this site hit the 4 deuces and Joker? Thanks for any information.

There's only one combination of 5 cards that results in 4 deuces+joker. There are 4 combinations for getting a RF. That means a dealt royal is 4 times more likely. Not only that, but you're dealing with a 53 card deck. That means there are 53_C_5 combinations, or only one in 2,869,685 possible hands will be this combination.
As for getting the result in normal play that depends on the exact paytable and strategy. However, the 99% game has a cycle of around 130K hands according to winpoker.

I have had some good jackpots on Deuces/Jokers Wild. These machines were in A.C. several years ago. For some reason all of the casinos took them out ( 5 years ago ). When they started to change the machine to ticket machines.
The Taj-Mahal had a row of 8 machines $1.00 denomination 3 Tier Progressive. The 5 Wilds started at $10,000, the Nat. Royal started at $4,000, And the 4 deuces started at $125. I have hit the Royal several times and hit the 5 wilds for $14,932. That is the highest jackpot that I`ve have hit to this date. The progressive would rise very quickly because there were a lot of people that wouldn`t play max coins and spend the $5 . The highest amount that the 5wilds got to was over $33,000. I heard from one of the regular players that some guy came in off the street. He tried to put a wrinkle $20 bill in, after several times the machine excepted the bill and on the second hand hit the 5 willds.
It took me 5 years of complaining to the management to bring this game back. Last year Taj has put Deuces/Jokers Wild back on the floor. But, there all non-progressive. So I`ll have to keep complaining to make some of them progressive.
When the wild cards appear frequently you can get time on these machines to build up comp dollars.

Thanks for the information and enjoyed reading your post JimDuece' sWild. I have noticed that this game does seem to help with the comp dollars and allows me to play longer (which hopefully will lead to RF's and a miracle with all 5 wild cards).
