Many thanks vidopoker and MFP for the MGM GRAND DETROIT email addresses. I sent an email to John and it failed to connect. His name is on pages of MGMGrand Detroit info and sites. I sent an email to Daniela. I carry a water bottle everywhere and Detroit/Windsor casinos are the only ones that have been negative about that. Once a Windsor employee actually confiscated my water bottle that was on top of my VP machine. He said I could get another at the bar. I said it was special distilled water from home for medicinal purposes. He did not buy that. He smiled and said they had distilled water in Canada. Ok, so I drank the rest and handed him the empty bottle. He was no longer smiling. End of conversation. Windsor does not even allow anyone to walk out of the casino with a drink. I have seen them stop people about to do so. I was stopped at the entrance to MotorCity once and told to get rid of the water bottle before entering. Part of their rationale is that it could contain any substance such as vodka. With no other activity in the parking structure, I assume I was videotaped putting the water bottle, yogurt and plastic spoon in my pockets at my car. Perhaps they thought better than to ask specifically what was in my pockets. Had they asked, I could have easily cleared up their concern. It's time for me to fergitaboudit and move on.

Marie, just so you know, we actually don't allow water bottles or yogurt while browsing the forum. Please dispose of them before opening the page next time. Thanks.

The problem w this site is that there are too many comedians upstaging me! Have you no control over this aspect?vidopoker: I give up and do appreciate your help! Wonder how you found John's e mail address because I could not locate it on the net. Does that fall under the special plays category?

Hey! Comedians? Show us some respect here.
As far as Yogurt, it's not even allowed in my house. They take perfectly good milk and spoil it.
Glad to see WM finally cracking down on the large amount of water being consumed here. Sure hope for cd's sake he doesn't get tough on Starbucks.

Marie... I have a site I use to get phone numbers, addresses and emails for business contacts. The email address for John was updated as of June of 2008. Sorry it didn't work. Maybe he got wind of us trying to hunt him down!!

No Starbuck's allowed in the forum?!! Dem's fighting words!
Marie - I'm sure your casino doesn't have a problem with players drinking vodka, they just want you to drink theirs and not bring your own.

I used to live in Seattle so you need not fear for Starbucks restrictions. If I had my way, we'd implement a quota.
