Going For The Royal.....
Obviously, if I'm dealt 4 to the Royal, I'm going for it.. I don't keep track,but I do know I've hit the royal quite a few time when dealt the 4.Now, one thing I do is...if I'm dealt no pair, but have A-10 suited, I'll hold it and discard 3. I've hit the royal once doing this. Of course if I only have A with K or Q or J I'll also hold them.

Very seldom is it the "correct" play to hold A-T. I assume you don't play DDB or any game that pays back extra for 4 aces. This play reduces the number of quad aces you might get holding a single ace by 3/4 and you will never see aces with a kicker.
However, there are some games where this is the proper hold. In OEJs it is correct. In Quick Quads JOB it is also correct. In 9/6 JOB the cost is only .03 credits each time so it's not going to hurt you too much if you 'enjoy' the extra chances for a royal.
