I think his little straddle the fence and play both sides angle that he is playing is deceitful and disgraceful.  He is willing to tell you all about his dealings with casinos if you contact him according to webman.  But he does not disclose this conflict of interest in any of his training sessions or books that I have paid money to learn from....

Again, read the content of the classes over at UNLV that he is a part of this week...Sounds like hes got players figured out because...let's see...ummmm...Oh yeah!!!  He was our teacher!!!!   What a scam!  You should be mad and skeptical too....



 
First of all, you don't learn VP strategies at Dancer's classes. You get bits and pieces and ideas. You learn strategy through practice with computer tutors.
 
So, once again, who cares about Dancer? I learned about AP before Dancer started writing and teaching classes. I've never been to any of his classes. I've made money following the mathematics of VP. That has nothing to do with Bob Dancer. If you have a problem with Bob Dancer why don't you contact him directly and tell him you don't like what he is doing.
 
But we know all this is just a side show. You're trying to equate Dancer with AP and then trying to link him to the casinos. Ergo, AP must be bad. Of course, your initial premise is wrong and therefore, all the conclusions are also wrong. I guess logic must not be one of the things you learned in "some college".

  I don't know Bob Dancer from the man in the moon. I do not schill for him, do not read up on his strategies, do not attend his seminars. I have no defense for Bob Dancer because frankly I don't care. While I'm on the subject I do not follow Jean Scott's advice either. Because myself and many other people on this site play by the book and in doing so learn best hold strategy. I do however as I have stated in the past will stick by the math guys who have shot down your every defense of AP, ARTT or whatever.
  I will not straddle the fence with this though rolanddude, I do not like you. I have never met you but you have decided to make this forum your personal arena and you refuse to accept that people are getting tired of your rants and cutomary rebuttals against anyone who proves (quite frequently I will say) you wrong.
 
  You have picked on people and when they give it back to you then you pick on them some more. We did not start picking on you, you opened that door and flung yourself on to that fire. You came on to this forum and schilled for ARTT, when you were offered proof positive by mathematicians that ARTT did not compute. You then put up some spreadsheet trying to prove your point and again this was proved to be erroneous. Youo then claimed that the numbers were off because you were "rounding" them.  Then you were on to AP.

Tedlark,Sorry you don't like me...You'll see that if you will read the "update to Rolanddude's Week" post again (found within "Short Term Strategies Part Deuce" on one of the first couple of pages), I came here only with the intention of getting input...I entered the forum...defended a good friend of mine only by refuting OEJ and the others by telling them that my experinces with him were totally different...then the dirty, offensive, slurs and slanders started flying...(you might not have got to read them as they were deleted by Webman...who himself knew that I wasn't Rob!!!!)  I didn't have a chance to present my (in alot of ways different from the original) theorum completely before I had to start defending this, that, or the other that didn't even apply to my exact way of playing...only because many here thought I was "The Man" they despise!!!  So don't say that I came in here swinging...I started swinging back in defense of not only a friend who is constantly slandered on this site, but on all the erroneous assumptions that were initially used to evaluate my play...(i.e.  starting at .25 and going all the way to $100...Wrong Strategy...I am playing ARTT but was being critiqued on his "Professional" Strategy)  That's why I posted the update a couple of weeks ago...to explain my case and bring readers up to date that didn't go all the way back and read the closed threads...So Tedlark,  I extend the olive branch and call a truce with you...Today has been too good of a day to be ended by creating an enemy...!!!Later,Joe

So if you don't like the people and the things we say about your hero, just leave and you won't have to read it or defend it. Nobody went out to invite you into this, you inherited it when you mentioned his name as your mentor. I've never dealt with him and don't care to. I once saw him in Laughlin and he was slightly better than dead. He was awake but didn't look coherent. Did ya ever see someone after they just got in a traffic accident? Thats what he looked like minus the blood of course. I, personally have no beef with you. Just don't understand why you keep coming back when you know whats coming. Are you a masochist or a glutton for punishment?

No EDC....had enough pain the last eight months outside of here....I just know that I sat down with the man once and won...later that night I did what I was taught and won again.  I came home a winner that trip...Went back again in November...came home a winner again!!   Nobody that posts either believes me or they automatically tune me out because they associate me with someone else (well even though there has been over 5000 views and well over 400 posts to my threads).  I have been getting a few emails from readers every day...and guess what...they are having success too doing exactly what I've been doing...they just don't want to get into the fray and back and forth here.  So please don't think that nobody wants to hear what I say...It makes me laugh a little...you and your 5 friends here that post in response to me are not the only people on videopoker.com...So be Cool...Ed da Cat...I am not the only one here that knows he whom you have never met...not everyone can be as good looking as da Cat...the smartest man in the world is a parapeleigic who looks totally wacked out and talks by rubbing his chin on a pad...Don't judge by looks...they are deceiving.  Later Brotherman,Joe

Never claimed to be good looking and never will! I play my way and you play yours. You, however continue to tout your way even though it may not necessarily be the best way. I, along with 4 others, don't go around touting the way we play nor do we offer free lessons or provide half page spread sheets. Only understand what we do and why we do it. You are the one who continues to sell when no one is buying. We're not selling and won't! Do you begin to see the correlation here? Twenty two thousand plus and only five of us think its a sham. Yet you're the only one who speaks on his behalf. (as I stated, he speaks through you) The others have since been banned because of language or abuse of posting priveleges. Don't post and see how many of the remaining 22,195 members PM you for details on "rock around the block." I believe there's a permanent block when trying to post your hero's site because I got asterisks in place of the letters. Nonetheless, leave it alone and see what happens.

EDC,Not selling...can't sell what is FREE for all to read.  Just sharing my personal experiences and why I played the way I did that resulted in wins...by the way, using the best mathematical holds like I learned six years ago. (The "Special Plays", that are always referred to in sarcastic terms here, are only used when you are within striking distance of a preset goal.  I learned about them on my trips but didn't win because of them.) The posters here can't seem to realize that I haven't seen the man since November...How can he speak through me?  And this site boasts 140,600+ members...and none of them have PM'd me...they email me at my email address...(which I, unlike most here, am happy to disclose in my profile)And my heros are ... My Dad, Ronald Reagan, and all the Men & Women that serve this great country... The one to whom you refer is my friend!  No wonder I am always on the defense here,  I am constantly being mischaracterized by association.  Instead of going on a tangeant with misinformation about me,  understand I am two for two on my trips playing this way.  When I come back from Vegas a loser I'll be man enough to come here and tell all about it.  I won't keep my play private like some others prefer to do here...I'll be an open book and tell you anything you want to know...(very much like my friend). Now, Joe, be honest.   You may differ from your mentor in a fine point or two, but otherwise you toe his line completely.  That's hardly mischaracterization.   The serious criticisms are for your numbers and your views that you've posted, not the original source of the information.   So don't be trying to get readers to believe that the hard time you've gotten is just because a few people here may not admire your mentor as much as you do, and have decided to work on you as a surrogate.  
 
Hm, well, maybe one or two are working on you for that reason, but it's still a minority. 
 
It seems like we've always got someone around with a special talent when we need it.  Since all the math stuff relating to this subject has already been taken care of, what we need for these threads at a point like this is someone with a background in debating and rhetoric.   Then I think we'd have all of the bases covered.
