LINE GOT A FREE RIDE, (NOTHING) THIRD LINE DEALT 3 - 10'S COUNTED TO TEN WHEN "BOOM" THE 4TH. 10, "500" CREDITS. THEN CAME THE 4TH. LINE WHEN DEALT 3 - 10'S COUNTED TO TEN AGAIN THEN "BOOM" UP COMES THE 4TH. 10 FOR 1000 CREDITS. **2** BACK TO BACK 4 0F A KIND OF THE SAME **10'S** HOW COOL IS THAT.

$150.00 ON WHAT WAS A "SO" "SO" DAY OF PLAYING VP.

I KNOW FOUR OF A KINDS ON JACKS OR BETTER IS ONCE IN EVERY 424 HANDS, BUT JUST CURIOUS WHAT THE ODD'S ARE OF HAVING BACK TO BACK OF THE SAME HAND.

424*424  is about every 180K hands. Getting the third one would be really significant.

Yes, but much lower odds that both hands would be quad 10's.

Odds of the first quad are 1/424. Odds of a matching quad would be what... 1 / 5,512 ? (i'm sure there is a rounding error here)

So about 1 / 2,337,088

And if you mean the hands were EXACTLY the same (same off card, etc) then even more rare.

SHADOWMAN AND EDUARDO THANK'S FOR THE RESPONSE.

   MY CALCULATION  WAS ( 424 X 13 POSSIBLE QUADS) = 5,512

NOT SURE HOW YOU HAVE DERIVED THE OTHER NUMBERS.

BUT AS A STUDENT OF VP I AM WILLING TO LISTEN.

Yes, mine is the same. Yours (5512) is the odds of hitting the second one AFTER you already hit the first one.

My numbers were the odds of doing it on any two consecutive hands, without the first one being a given.

Shadowman's numbers were the odds of hitting any quad on two consecutive hands.

Presuming this was single line Multi-Strike, there is another significant matter here since the pay for the top two lines is greater.  The matching quads were hit on the top 2 lines.  Only about 1 in 4 plays even gets to the 3rd line.  So, if you want the approximate odds for back-to-back quads on the top 2 lines, multiply S-man's odds by 4 (these odds are greater than getting a dealt royal flush on any single hand).  If you want the approximate odds of back-to-back matching quads (which do not pay any more than back-to-back non-matching quads) on the top 2 lines, multiply Eduardo's odds by 4.So, what do you think Texaco, are 9 million to 1 odds big enough for this event?  Congrats!

Of course we all want a bigger payout for those 9 million to 1 hits!

But if there were an extra bet option for hitting two matching quads on the top two lines of Multistrike, I don't think many of us would place that bet to begin with.

WELL MY BETTER HALF WAS PLAYING NEXT TO ME ON AN ALL-AMERICAN MACHINE AND GOT TO WITNESS SOMETHING SPECIAL IN THE VP KINGDOM I GUESS. THERE WERE OTHER PLAYERS AROUND BUT NO ONE ELSE PROBABLY REALIZED WHAT A RARITY THIS WAS.

Yeah, I missed the same card part of the question. As already mentioned you can look at as 424*5512 or 5512*5512 if you specify the card first (ask about 10s specifically).
I had back to back quad kings once. Can't remember doing it for any other card.

I was dealt a sequential RF a few years ago playing quarters. I got nothing extra for being dealt or sequential. This event is more than 30 million to 1.

I once saw two side by side machines with exactly the same hand pay waiting to be paid. This was a OEJs 5oak and the cards were the exact same cards in the very same positions.
