New "M" resort in Vegas

Post by kjohn »

We just got back from Vegas where we took the opportunity to visit the new
"M" resort in Henderson.  It was fantastic.  Clean, good pay tables for VP, good
choice of games and a great lay out....I was so impressed we went back for a
second day.  Had some nice luck and my sister hit $1000 on a slot machine....The
buffet was the best I've ever had in Vegas.  Someone described it as food that
was made fresh by chefs as you watched instead of being made  ahead and kept
warm...It simply has to be experienced.   The wait can be long but we had a
casino host so got VIP treatment and the "short" line.   When you get a players card you get a good deal off on the buffet.   The staff in the casino
was so nice.  I hit a AAAA2 and let out a little holler and right away a casino
guy came over and congratulated me and wished me more luck....You can read
about the "M" on Trip Advisor or on the "M" site and learn more.

In less than a month, M has bagged more than a million patrons to its player card program. Initial reports are that inventory for under a buck VP is thin or paytables are less than good for that denom. The rest of your report is fairly acccurate though! It's new kjohn, give it a few months and we'll see what becomes of them. SouthPoint has weathered the storm quite well.

Seems like a hard time to be opening up something new, but if they handle it right maybe it's only hard on the competition. It sounds like they are doing a lot of things right. I wish more places would keep trying to do things better to compete, rather than cutting back. It seems like those who win out will almost certainly be the ones who do the best job of appealing to players right now when things are hard. Bottom line is that if I receive multiple offers, I will not be taking advantage of hokey ones. I'll balance the quality of the offer with the quality of the location and decide from there. It seems so simple.

I look forward to checking this place out on my next trip. I'll be sure to check out the pay tables online before I do though.

We visited the M April 3,4 and 5. They have excellent VP under a buck. They have a version on nsu deuces triple play 99.96 as well as nsu deuces @99.73, 9-6 bonus deluxe @99.65 in 25-50-$1. They also have 2 banks of full pay db,dw,ddb in .25. These machines have less cash back.  All the other VP has the same cash back as slots. Also there were  double points for the entire month of April.

I took a solo trip to Vegas while Hubby went elsewhere on business and I'll
have to say from the pick up at the airport to the VIP treatment  I
was impressed with the M.    But this is a VP forum and not Trip Adviser so how
was the casino for two plus days of non stop play?  I loved it....As noted above
the pay tables were fine.  I played on the full pay machines for a time and liked that one bank was in the non smoking section.   But full pay is only good if it pays and I didn't have any luck there.  I found a bank of triple play progressive and ended
up with some machine that I'm sure was sent from heaven...Not only did I hit the
Royal on line one for $1300 but I ran the crazy machine over $1000 not once but
three times...I hit the 4A-kicker three times was dealt quads five times, once 4 2's and I
lost count of the total quads.  I actually had people watching me play...Pretty
fun!!!!  The only down side is my back is killing me.  I also observed two other
royals hit and 4A with kicker on triple double bonus.  Seemed people were
winning there fair share and the place was hopping busy....I'm not too swift on
how points add up but I will have to say there redemption system is the best
I've ever used.  You just key in the personal banker screen right on your
machine and it tells you how much money you have available and if you so wish it
goes directly to your machine.  You can play it or cash it out.  Very slick.  I
used my money for extra play because all my food was comped as was the room..All
in all I'm going back with my husband the end of June and will stay there
again.
