Harrah's St. Louis good or bad
My Hubby has business in St. Louis and I'm tagging along. I got a fairly
good deal on two nights at Harrah's as I'm a plattnum card holder...I have never stayed there and only played
there once many years ago.... I'll be
stuck there for the entire evening and the next day. ...I've been reading reviews and now I'm wondering if this is
wise...Smokey, Old, Two casinos not attached...Can anyone tell me what the set
up is at this place and is the VP any good.....If it's too terrible I may just
skip the trip. kj

THE VP WILL NOT BE TO YOUR LIKING IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR FULL PAY MACHINES, THERE IS ONE ROW OF (99%) MACHINES M/D WITH ONLY ONE MACHINE OF EACH GAME "J/B, DB/B, DDB, TDB, D/B ETC." THESE ARE AS CLOSE AS IT GETS IN HARRAHS. THE ROOMS IN THE OLD TOWER ARE SMALL, BUT OK. THE TWO CASINO'S HAVE REALLY BEEN COMBINED INTO ONE WITH A WALK THRU AREA THAT DOES HAVE A LOT OF PENNY MACHINES. ""SMOKEY"" DEFINITLY, IN CERTAIN AREAS AND NORMALLY IN THE EVENING'S, DAYTIME WON'T BE TO BAD. FOOD IS OK WITH THE 21 GRILL OFFERING PRETTY DECENT QUICK FOOD. HARRAHS St.LOUIS IS GEARED TOWARDS THE LOW ROLLER WITH LOT'S OF PENNY MACHINES.
YOU CAN ALWAYS CATCH A CAB AND GO WEST ACROSS THE MISSOURI RIVER TO St.CHARLES AND AMERISTAR FOR A CHANGE OF PACE. MUCH BIGGER AND MORE OPEN AND LESS SMOKE. THEY DO HAVE A "FEW" FULL PAY MACHINES BUT YOU HAVE TO LOOK AS THEY MOVE THEM AROUND.

thanks for the info...I usually play .25 DDB and the same on triple play...Thanks also for the cab idea. Since I'll be carless that might be an option if I hate the place...I'm assuming full pay is the 10/6? I seldom ever find those except in Vegas....but if they have a few I'll try to locate them... What is M/D. and can you give me a location of the machines......I'll just relax and be a 48 hr. low roller...
