Sinister Ideas run amok as I read this topic.
Has anyone thought to double check WEBMAN's venue here on Video Poker for flipped values <LOL>

Because I am so good, I don't need to make money selling tickets. Or writing books. Or charging for classes. Come on, you walked right into that one.
I've been told that you cover losses with late night loitering on street corners wearing a wig, halter top, hot pants, and high heels. But that could just be a scurrilous rumor. People have accused me of that, but I can prove it isn't true - I have a bad back and haven't been able to wear heels for years.

I don't think we'll have to worry about gaffing on the site games until WM starts charging for reloads.
How's it going? Someone told me you've been a busy little beaver and haven't had much time to visit.

Yeah, busy trying to make folks think that I'm not worth laying off! It's been a fire-drill since just before the first of the year.
I had a break this afternoon and got caught up on some of the paperwork that had piled up and even got a tee time for my son and I late this afternoon.

If the proposition on the fifth card flip were to go down like this:
Wager = $1000 per flip
Number of flips played = 1000
On each flip Rob wins $3000 if the new card matches the rank of the discard. If the new card does not match the rank of the discard Rob loses $1000.

Assuming a random deal this is what the math would look like:
Chances of the new card matching the discard is 15.66 (47 divided by 3)
Expected number of times the new card will match the discard per 1000 flips is 63.85696. But let's round that to 64.
Expected number of times the new card does not match the discard is 936.
Rob would expect to win $3000 64 times for a total of $192,000.
Rob would expect to lose $1000 936 times for a total of $936,000.
Rob's expected loss is $744,000.

If the proposition were to happen it would happen in a casino, not on this website.
But don't expect for it to happen. Rob is making stipulations on the proposition to ensure it never happens.

As you said, those are expected numbers from play on a machine operating randomly. His incentive for accepting a challenge like that with his claimed 40% flip rate would be:
Expect to win $3,000 400 times for a total of $1,200,000.
Expect to lose $1,000 600 times for a total of $600,000.
Expected net winnings: $600,000.
I can't believe that he wouldn't jump on an opportunity like that.

I'm curious about that too. Some of us don't follow RS on different sites.
